Yoga for Cyclists Classes at the Velo Stop
Calling all roadies, mountain bikers, triathletes and casual cyclists!
Do you want to improve your cycling performance, reduce pain, recover faster and feel amazing on and off of your bike?
Do you want to make new friends and have fun?
Then join us at the Velo Stop for a 6 week series of one hour yoga classes designed specifically for people who love to ride bikes (though you don’t have to be a cyclist to attend!). These classes are open to anyone who wants to try yoga in a laid back, fun and friendly environment.
Experienced cyclist and yoga instructor Meredith Fontana will guide you through poses that will strengthen the areas of your body prone to cycling related pain and injuries (think knees, hips and spine), and open the muscles that typically feel tight and sore.
Even if you can’t touch your toes or have never tried yoga before, these classes are for you!
Dates and Time:
Sundays at 5:30 pm
June 4th 2017 – July 2nd 2017
$18 per class (save on available class packages)
People of all levels of yoga and cycling experience are welcome.
Please bring a mat, water bottle and towel. We will have a few extra mats provided on a first come first serve basis.
